- Chilham Castle British Eventing Horse Trials
29 Apr – 30 Apr 2017
Entry Open: 17th March
Welcome to a “Hidden Gem...”
Equestrian sport at its best in the heart of Kent, near Canterbury.
Set on the South Downs in the beautiful Kentish village of Chilham, horses and riders will compete in the sport of eventing over the Chilham Castle Estate parkland.
The first Chilham Castle British Eventing Horse Trials event took place in 2004 and has gained an enviable reputation with riders as a friendly and well-run event, which for many is their favourite one of the season. In particular the cross country courses receive great plaudits for the creative design of the fences and the very high standard to which they are presented.
Please feel free to look around the site which has a wealth of information for competitors, spectators but also tradestands and potential sponsors.
Are always welcome and encouraged to walk the course; but be aware that the irregular terrain and distances may be unsuitable for some spectators. Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times. Please obey all instructions given by Officials. Listen for whistle blasts, warning of an approaching competitor.
